equestrian arena with panoramic cafe
The focus of this project is clearly on the supporting structure. One hurdle, which ultimately led to more resolved and elegant load-bearing systems, was that only timber cross-sections of up to 5 cm on one side and a maximum of 40 cm on the other could be used. Furthermore, the sanitary installations were examined in great detail.
Another important point was the embedding of the hall in the surrounding landscape and mastering the height offset from the riding hall to the viewing café.
